The Stuff-A-Bus drive to fight food insecurity was in full force in Yonkers on Friday.
The weeklong event by Stop & Shop and Feeding Westchester aims to gather much needed holiday food staples.
By the end of the week, all donated items will be put into a bus, hence the name Stuff-A-Bus, and they will be taken to a Feeding Westchester distribution center where volunteers will get the donations into the hands of those in need.
Next Friday and Saturday, a Bee-Line bus will get stuffed and the donations will then be dropped off on Halloween.
Our purpose is to feed, empower, and unite our community. Our mission, to nourish our neighbors in the fight against hunger. But, the distribution of this food is only possible because of your support.
