Feeding Westchester Names Three New Board Members

  • January 9, 2025

Feeding Westchester, Westchester County’s primary food bank, is pleased to announce three new members to its board. The organization, with a mission “to nourish our neighbors in the fight against hunger”, provides nutritious food to a hunger-relief network of nearly 300 partners and programs covering the Westchester community. Feeding Westchester’s volunteer board, which draws from Westchester County’s brightest leaders, helps further the organization’s strategy, mission and goals.

Below are profiles of Ellen Rothschild, David Rusoff and Anne Tennant who joined the Board effective January 1, 2025:

Ellen Rothschild

Ellen Rothschild is a seasoned entrepreneur and marketing professional driving business success through innovative strategies for start-ups, small to midsize companies and non-profit organizations. With a proven history of starting, building, and successfully exiting three companies, her unique perspective combines marketing intuition with the acumen of a seasoned business owner.

Her journey in entrepreneurship, coupled with her extensive volunteer service, positions her to mentor and empower the next generation of business owners and non-profit leaders and bring organizational acumen to the Boards she serves on.

Ms. Rothschild rejoins Feeding Westchester, having served on the organization’s board and Strategic Planning Committee from 2014-2016. Additionally, she currently serves on the board for Start Lighthouse, is the Communications Co-Chair for Westchester Women’s Agenda, and previously held board positions with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Alexander Wolf & Sons and The NY Alliance.

Ms. Rothschild, a native of Westchester County, spent her formative years in Yonkers, NY, and now calls Briarcliff Manor home, where she resides with her husband, Mitch Taube. Her daughter and son-in-law have chosen to raise their family in White Plains, while her son and his family reside in Queens, N.Y.

David Rusoff

David T. Rusoff is the Chief Legal Officer for Citadel Securities, responsible for the firm’s legal, compliance and internal audit functions globally.

Prior to joining Citadel Securities in December 2023, David was a partner at Goldman Sachs, most recently serving as global general counsel to the Global Banking and Markets Division. There, he also served as legal counsel to many firm-wide and divisional committees and steering groups over the years, including Technology Risk, Automated Trading Controls, Artificial Intelligence, Firmwide Digital Assets, Capital Policy and Procedures Oversight, Market Risk, Client and Business Standards, New Products and Operational Risk and Resilience.

Over his 23-plus years at Goldman Sachs, David held various leadership positions in the Legal Division of progressively increasing responsibility, including serving as global general counsel to the Securities Division, Head of Sales and Trading Legal, Co-Head of Equities Legal, and Co-Chair of the Legal Division People Development Committee.

Prior to Goldman Sachs, David was a partner in the law firm of Foley & Lardner, in Chicago, where he spent almost 10 years as a member of the financial services practice group.

Throughout his career he has also been involved with numerous financial services industry organizations, including having served as Chair of the SIFMA General Counsel’s Committee.

David earned a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance, cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D., with highest honors, from the George Washington University Law School, where he was Order of the Coif and a recipient of the Charles Glover Award, the Jennie Hassler Walburn Award and the West Publishing Award.
