A dining subscription service that offers rewards while donating meals to those in need launches in Westchester this month. The service was founded in 2018 and has witnessed a surge in membership over the past few years, and we’re getting you this inside scoop — and a free membership! — on this new rewards program.
For $29.99 per year, members can choose between a digital card, which is available through Foodie Card’s mobile app, or a physical copy sent in the mail. Members earn 10% off their meals at participating restaurants, including the 125 Westchester-based establishments that have already joined. With every purchase and renewal of a Foodie Card, a full day’s worth of meals is also donated to those in need.
As part of the local launch, Foodie Card partnered with Feeding Westchester, the county’s largest nonprofit hunger relief organization, to provide meals for those in need from proceeds of every membership sold. Westchester Magazine readers can even sign up for their first year for free, and Feeding Westchester will still receive $2 for every Foodie Card signup.
