At Sanse Soap Shop, a rainy-day soap-making experiment has blossomed into a passionate mission to combat hunger in Westchester. What began as a fun family project has transformed into the powerful Wash Away Hunger initiative, providing essential support to Feeding Westchester and our neighbors in need.
Since 2019, Sanse Soap Shop has raised over $4,600, showing that even the simplest acts of kindness can create a lasting impact. Each year, the community rallies around the shop’s handmade soaps, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Feeding Westchester. From whimsical race car soaps to charming penguins, these creations bring joy while making a difference.
This year, the Wash Away Hunger initiative continues to evolve, with the introduction of limited-edition bejeweled soaps inspired by the Eras Tour, featuring friendship bracelets just in time for Valentine’s Day. These special editions, alongside the beloved classic soaps, offer something for everyone while supporting a great cause.
Sanse Soap Shop uses a high-quality, skin-friendly melt-and-pour base, ensuring each soap is safe, effective, and delightful to use. With a shelf life of one year, they make thoughtful gifts while directly supporting the fight against hunger.
Through February, the Wash Away Hunger fundraiser aims to raise $1,000 for Feeding Westchester, with the addition of a new “Stranger Things”-inspired soap this season. This collaboration showcases the creative spirit and dedication that continues to fuel Sanse Soap Shop’s efforts to help nourish our neighbors in need.
