The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) in Northern Westchester is not only a sanctuary for wolves but also a vibrant community partner supporting Feeding Westchester. Recently, WCC made a significant contribution by dropping off donations, showcasing their ongoing commitment to fighting hunger in the community.
In just a short time, the WCC has become a regular contributor to Feeding Westchester, with their community coming together to donate food and other items for those in need. Their next drop-off, set for December 19th, marks another generous contribution from this passionate group. Andrew Connolly, WCC’s Educator and Outreach Coordinator, shared that the community has been “coming out in full force” to support the food bank, and Feeding Westchester is incredibly grateful for their ongoing commitment.
For the WCC, the mission is simple: protect wolves and serve the community. Their recent photo of staff gathered ahead of the next donation is a testament to this, highlighting the camaraderie and dedication they have toward both their cause and their local community. While wolves remain the center of their educational programs, the WCC has also created a platform for local involvement in hunger relief efforts.
As the holiday season approaches, we are thankful for organizations like the Wolf Conservation Center, who go beyond their primary mission to support neighbors in need. Their efforts remind us that everyone plays a role in building a compassionate, well-fed community.

We look forward to continuing this partnership and to seeing what we can accomplish together in the future.
In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our offices are closed today, January 19. Food donation drop-off remains open, and your support helps ensure neighbors across Westchester have access to fresh, healthy food.
