Feeding Westchester, Westchester County’s primary food bank, is pleased to announce three new members to its board. The organization, with a mission “to nourish our neighbors in the fight against hunger”, provides nutritious food to a hunger-relief network of nearly 300 partners and programs covering the Westchester community. Feeding Westchester’s volunteer board, which draws from Westchester County’s brightest leaders, helps further the organization’s strategy, mission and goals.
Below are profiles of Ellen Rothschild, David Rusoff and Anne Tennant who joined the Board effective January 1, 2025:
Ellen Rothschild
Ellen Rothschild is a seasoned entrepreneur and marketing professional driving business success through innovative strategies for start-ups, small to midsize companies and non-profit organizations. With a proven history of starting, building, and successfully exiting three companies, her unique perspective combines marketing intuition with the acumen of a seasoned business owner.
Her journey in entrepreneurship, coupled with her extensive volunteer service, positions her to mentor and empower the next generation of business owners and non-profit leaders and bring organizational acumen to the Boards she serves on.
Ms. Rothschild rejoins Feeding Westchester, having served on the organization’s board and Strategic Planning Committee from 2014-2016. Additionally, she currently serves on the board for Start Lighthouse, is the Communications Co-Chair for Westchester Women’s Agenda, and previously held board positions with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Alexander Wolf & Sons and The NY Alliance.
Ms. Rothschild, a native of Westchester County, spent her formative years in Yonkers, NY, and now calls Briarcliff Manor home, where she resides with her husband, Mitch Taube. Her daughter and son-in-law have chosen to raise their family in White Plains, while her son and his family reside in Queens, N.Y.
David Rusoff
David T. Rusoff is the Chief Legal Officer for Citadel Securities, responsible for the firm’s legal, compliance and internal audit functions globally.
Prior to joining Citadel Securities in December 2023, David was a partner at Goldman Sachs, most recently serving as global general counsel to the Global Banking and Markets Division. There, he also served as legal counsel to many firm-wide and divisional committees and steering groups over the years, including Technology Risk, Automated Trading Controls, Artificial Intelligence, Firmwide Digital Assets, Capital Policy and Procedures Oversight, Market Risk, Client and Business Standards, New Products and Operational Risk and Resilience.
Over his 23-plus years at Goldman Sachs, David held various leadership positions in the Legal Division of progressively increasing responsibility, including serving as global general counsel to the Securities Division, Head of Sales and Trading Legal, Co-Head of Equities Legal, and Co-Chair of the Legal Division People Development Committee.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, David was a partner in the law firm of Foley & Lardner, in Chicago, where he spent almost 10 years as a member of the financial services practice group.
Throughout his career he has also been involved with numerous financial services industry organizations, including having served as Chair of the SIFMA General Counsel’s Committee.
David earned a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance, cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D., with highest honors, from the George Washington University Law School, where he was Order of the Coif and a recipient of the Charles Glover Award, the Jennie Hassler Walburn Award and the West Publishing Award.
A Westchester native, David and his wife Meredith live in Ardsley, where they raised their three grown children.
Anne Tennant
Anne Tennant is a Managing Director and is the General Counsel of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (WM), the wealth management division of Morgan Stanley. Anne leads a team of professionals who advise the business on legal issues and regulatory requirements involving the division’s broad product and services offerings. Anne previously served as head of litigation for the Wealth Management business.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 1999, Anne practiced as a securities litigator with a leading Florida law firm, where she specialized in representing financial institutions in court litigation, arbitrations, and regulatory proceedings before the SEC and the self-regulatory organizations. She holds a J.D. with honors from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Anne sits on the WM Operating and Management Committees. She is also a member of the SIFMA General Counsel’s Committee. Anne sits on the Legal and Compliance Division’s Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee and has been an active participant in various pro bono legal activities. She is a recipient of the Counsel of Urban Professionals (CUP) Catalyst award for Change Agents in Law and a Class of 2016 MAKER.
Anne devotes time and fundraising to various charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society, Project Purple, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Since 2022, Anne has been a Trustee on the Board of the Morgan Stanley Foundation, a non-profit that supports programs to promote children’s health, diversity education and employee community involvement.

Feeding Westchester serves Westchester County, providing food to a hunger-relief network of nearly 300 partners and programs. With a mission to nourish our neighbors in the fight against hunger, the organization sources and distributes good, nutritious food and other resources to wherever it is needed most.
In fiscal year 2024, Feeding Westchester provided more than 23 million pounds of food equivalent to more than 19 million meals through soup kitchens, food pantries, schools, shelters, residential programs, and mobile distributions. That served 229,000 neighbor visits – including visits from children, seniors, veterans, and hardworking families – every month. The nonprofit, a 4-star Charity Navigator organization, is committed to creating a community where all people have access to the food they need today, and the fundamental resources to build a better tomorrow.
