Hunger Is Here — Help Feed Westchester Today

Children, seniors, and adults from all walks of life face hunger in every Westchester community — including yours.

Your neighbor, your child’s classmate, or even your coworker may be struggling to put food on the table — and you might never know.

When Food Is Secure, Futures Are Brighter

Health

Without reliable access to healthy food, people face higher risks of chronic illness, weakened immune systems, and poor mental health. Nutrition is essential to both short-term well-being and long-term health outcomes.

Support

Too many working families don’t qualify for government food assistance, even as living costs continue to rise. Food banks help fill the gap—providing relief during uncertain times and helping neighbors stay afloat.

Opportunity

When kids and adults are nourished, they can focus in school, work confidently, and build a more stable future. Access to food unlocks opportunity—for individuals and for our entire community.

Meeting Hunger with Dignity and Community

Everyone’s struggle looks different

At Pace University, Assistant Director of Residential Life Wen Xi helped launch Pace Market—a free food pantry for students, faculty, and staff—after seeing growing need on campus. With support from Feeding Westchester, Wen transformed a dorm lobby into a welcoming space where community members can access fresh food without judgment. One student, who also visited the Mobile Food Pantry, stood out to Wen for the care they showed when choosing food—asking questions about ingredients and nutrition. For Wen, that moment showed what the pantry truly offers: not just food, but dignity and hope.
