The True Meaning of Being a Neighbor: A High School Senior’s Volunteer Journey

High school senior Brooke Brattner has been volunteering with Feeding Westchester since 2021—leading monthly food distributions, translating for families, and even donating winter clothing. As she heads to Iona University, her commitment to fighting food insecurity continues, exemplifying what it truly means to be a neighbor.
