The shutdown has ended, but many families are still waiting to catch up on bills and benefits. Requests for help remain high across Westchester, and our trucks and partners are moving fresh food where it is needed most.

1 in 3 households in Westchester County are at risk of hunger — including children, seniors, and working families.
Westchester County is known for its wealth, but the reality is more complex. Rising costs for housing, healthcare, and childcare are pushing more families to the edge. When budgets are tight, food is often the first thing to go — leaving too many of our neighbors without the nutrition they need to thrive.
Healthy food is expensive, so we don't always eat what we should. Thanks to the YMCA and Feeding Westchester, we get the fresh food we need—and we're grateful.
