1 in 3 households in Westchester County are at risk of hunger — including children, seniors, and working families.
Westchester County is known for its wealth, but the reality is more complex. Rising costs for housing, healthcare, and childcare are pushing more families to the edge. When budgets are tight, food is often the first thing to go — leaving too many of our neighbors relying on their local food bank for the nutrition they need to thrive.
In a way, I’m helping my family out. I’m saving money on groceries and other products. That feels good. It’s a judgment-free zone. Westchester Community College and Feeding Westchester definitely have your back.
