1. Eat

In partnership with IntoxiKate, we’re Eating For Orange! We’ve recruited Westchester restaurants to spread hunger awareness by creating an orange dish or drink. Order one of their orange creations, take a picture of it, and upload it to Instagram. Tag @FeedingWestchester and @IntoxikateFoodie + use the hashtag #EatingForOrange and IntoxiKate will donate $1 to Feeding Westchester (up to $500). View this year’s restaurants and dishes here.

2. Participate

Get a team together for the third annual Miles For Meals 5K Walk and Run. Every dollar raised goes toward providing meals to our hungry neighbors. And this year’s Miles For Meals is becoming a Fall Festival. In addition to the run, we’ll have a brunch bar and fun activities for the kids, including carnival games, a GaGa Pit, face painters, and more. Register here.

3. Volunteer

Did you know we provided 9.3 million pounds of food last year? That wouldn’t have been possible without the effort of 11,000 volunteers who dedicated more than 28,000 hours. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals, families, and corporate groups, from repacking food at Feeding Westchester headquarters to distributing food at one of our Mobile Food Pantry distributions. Learn more about volunteering here.

4. Donate

Every dollar raised by our generous donors helps provide four meals to children, families and seniors who struggle with hunger right here in Westchester County. Thanks to you, we’re able to deliver good nutritious food to where our neighbors like Michael and Alex (pictured) need it most. We are fighting hunger but we can’t do it without you. Give now.
