Efficient Food Distribution
Our more than 30,000-square-foot facility in Elmsford is the hub of our large and efficient food distribution system. Here, we inspect, sort, store, and prepare for distribution nearly 9 million pounds of healthy food. Next, we use our fleet of eight refrigerated trucks to deliver the food to our own feeding programs as well as to nearly 300 community partners and programs (such as food pantries, soup kitchens, senior and children’s daycare centers, shelters, and residential programs). Thanks to our infrastructure of freezers, coolers, trucks, and storage, our agencies can focus on serving clients.
