On #GivingTuesday, Westchester community members will be rolling up their sleeves, showing their team spirit and supporting our community in alleviating hunger. Join Feeding Westchester’s supporters in a fun and friendly repack competition. Teams of up to 10 team members will package critical items for families in need across the county as quickly as possible. The team that packs the most pounds of food will win the Community Scoop Award.
Participation also includes:
- Public recognition in publicity materials
- Promotion on Feeding Westchester’s social media platforms & website
- Team photo (show your team pride by wearing matching t-shirts)
- Reception after the competition to celebrate your good work

Feeding Westchester hosts exciting events throughout the year that support our mission of ending hunger in Westchester County. These events include family fun food packing competitions (Community Scoop-a-Thons), gardening groups, our Miles for Meals 5K Fun Run, and more!
Local businesses can support these events through purchasing tickets, becoming sponsors, and spreading awareness.
We also partner with local groups or companies that are fundraising on our behalf. Feeding Westchester provides our logo, guidelines, and sometimes in-person support to ensure the success of these efforts.
